- Variable (low or elevated) vitamin D levels. Two recall actions (April and June 2026) covered milk replacer batches with vitamin D outside the safe range. Puppies are especially vulnerable: too much vitamin D causes kidney damage; too little impairs bone development.
How to Check Your Package
Find the printed code on the side or back of the bag, can, or pouch — usually stamped near the best-by date and labeled "Lot," "LOT," or a date code. Compare it against the affected lots and dates listed above. If the printing is smudged or you can't find a code, treat the product as affected and contact the company with your receipt before feeding it.
What To Do If You Have This Product
- Stop using the affected milk replacer batches and contact Revival Animal Health for replacement or refund.
- If a puppy has been fed the product, watch for excessive thirst or urination, vomiting, weakness, or poor growth, and consult your veterinarian.
